PUBLIC NOTICE : A CALL FOR STAKEHOLDERS’ COMMENTS ON THE REVIEW OF PBPA FEES PAYABLE BY OIL MARKETING COMPANIES
The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) has received an application from the Petroleum Bulk Procurement Agency (PBPA) with a proposal to increase fees paid by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to PBPA from TZS 0.50/litre to TZS 3.00/litre. According to PBPA, the increase in fees is needed to meet increased operating costs as per the PBPA structure stipulated in the PBPA Establishment Order (GN No. 423 of 2015).
A Public Hearing Meeting will be held at EWURA offices in Dar es Salaam on 30th August 2017 from 10:00 am. Those who wish to submit comments pertinent to the Inquiry are requested to do so by submitting them in writing to the Director General at the above-mentioned address not later than 4th September 2017. Interested parties who also wish to make presentations at the Public Hearing Meeting are requested to register themselves with EWURA in writing by 21st August 2017.
