Pursuant to the Petroleum (Lubricants Operations) Rules, 2022, GN No. 115, EWURA has mandates to register all lubricants blended, imported, stored, transported, distributed, sold or offered for sale in the Tanzanian market. Therefore, any lubricant that has not been registered is strictly forbidden for sale in Tanzanian. Appropriate legal action shall be taken against any person who fails to comply with the Petroleum (Lubricants Operations) Rules.
