The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellence Samia Suluhu Hasan has appointed Eng. Modestus Martin Lumato as the Director General of the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority effective 20th May 2022; taking over after Mr. Felix Ngamlagosi who served the Authority until June 2017, and Mr. Haruna Masebu (the founding DG).
