Victoria Elangwa has over 20 years of leadership, coaching and strategy formulating is currently working for Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority ( TFRA ) which is a Government entity entrusted with the responsibility of regulating and promotion of fertilizer in terms of pricing and licensing in Tanzania in undertaking its mandated roles as Director of Corporate Services responsible for Finance , Administration, Human Resources and Planning, managing donor funds and construction projects.
Prior to that she was the Head of Human Capital for a state owned Medical Stores Department for over eight years; and state owned TANESCO for over four years.Ms Elangwa has an immense experience in Human Resources for Health, managing Donor Relations and was in the initial team that wrote and managed the proposal for SADC pool procurement for Tanzania as chairperson of MSD TenderBoard;
Ms Elangwa is a certified Board member from Tanzania Institute of Directors MIoDT.593 and sits in the Board of WorldVision Tanzania, where she is also the Vice Chairperson of the Board and chair of People and Governance Committee she is also a member of the board of directors for EWURA where she serves as Vice Chairperson of the Board and chair of Legal and Corporate Affairs committee. Ms Elangwa is also a mentor with Mastercard foundation where she mentors students from Kwame Nkurumah University Ghana.
Ms Elangwa is a holder of Masters Degree from University of Dar es salaam in Business Administration she is currently undertaking PHD program at University of Dar es salaam General Business Management;
Ms Elangwa has been instrumental in setting up workable monitoring and evaluation framework units for all organization she has worked for including the current organization, She has been an integral part of strategy task force for all organization that she has worked for; she is also affiliated with the balanced score card institute of East Africa and is a member of HRSTA locally in Tanzania.
She has won the individual HR Excellence award for recognition of outstanding commitment in transformation of HR and also Received Workforce Game Changer for her work in Human Resources; She has successfully led her oragnisation to scoop the coveted overall employer of the year award for three consecutive years in the Public Sector organized by ATE.
