The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) is participating in the 9th Geita Mining Technology Exhibition, currently taking place at the Samia Suluhu Hassan Grounds in Geita, with the aim of educating the public about the regulation of energy and water services. During the exhibition, EWURA is providing public education on investment opportunities in rural fuel stations, the importance of rainwater harvesting, and encouraging unlicensed electrical technicians to apply for licences so that they can provide services in accordance with established laws and regulations. In addition, members of the public have an opportunity to submit complaints and concerns related to services in sectors regulated by EWURA. EWURA invites all members of the public visiting the exhibition to visit the EWURA booth to access information, education, and various regulatory services.
