Water Performance Reports

Based on reports submitted by WSSAs, EWURA prepares Annual Water Utilities Performance Reports for the Regional, Districts, Township and National Projects Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities (WSSSAs) that provide comparative performance of respective WSSAs in Tanzania.

The reports are prepared in two sets, one covers Regional and National projects WSSAs and the other for District and Township WSSAs. The reports provide comparative performance of respective WSSAs in which WSSAs are ranked based on key performance indicators and service level benchmarks. Utility ranking aims to measure WSSAs’ efforts to attain performance targets and compliance to reporting requirements. Based on the overall ranking criteria, as stipulated in the Performance Benchmarking Guidelines for WSSAs -2022, results of ranking of the WSSAs’ performance annually are determined.
