EWURA commended for its improved performance

Dodoma: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Affairs has commended EWURA for its continuing performance improvement after having attained 95.64% during the third quarter (January to March 2025) of the 2024/25 financial year, rising from 87.74 % from the previous performance review, equivalent to an increase of 7.9 %.

The DPM credited the Authority at an ordinary MoE’s session termed for the performance assessment of the Ministry and its Institutions, which showed that during the third quarter of the FY 2024/2025, an overall performance had improved to more than 95%.  The performance analysis is coordinated by the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of the Ministry of Energy.

"I am pleased with these growing numbers which indicates a strengthened service delivery, I am indeed looking at the way in which an institution is scaling from one step to another, we now see EWURA’s improvement comparing to previous circle, I warmly commend their achievement, let's add more efforts ", he said.
Dr. Biteko asserted that, the assessment mirrors service delivery of MoE and Institutions’ which will strengthen the economic and social importance of the energy sector. 
"The sector we are in, is of paramount importance providing both services and an economic driver, any failure may attract complaints and public outcries, I would therefore, like to envision its continued potentiality to Tanzanians’’. Dr. Biteko emphasized.
